Past
In 2005 I graduated in Advertising communications and Presentation, specializing in creating decors and stands. After that I traveled to distant countries and studied other cultures. After this great time I ended up at the Academy of Pop Culture, which was ideal because of the many possibilities and freedom offered. The first years were marked by set design and graphic design for me. When Vera; Club for the international popunderground in Groningen was looking for VJs I first came into contact with the medium of video. This was an important step in my development.
Present
Now I am audiovisual designer. With the collective Viesueel Geweld that was formed at the Academy of Pop Culture, we are making a name for ourselves. We work at/for events, festivals and schools. The assignments range from VJ performances, making videos to designing video installations. The diversity makes my job fun and always makes for a challenge!
Future
In the future Viesueel Geweld is a successful video collective. At events across the country and abroad I make innovative VJ acts and video installations. In addition, I make time for the experiment, to try, discover and apply new techniques. Viesueel Geweld will have a network of fruitful collaborations in different disciplines.
