Past
At a very young age I proclaimed: “I want to be a singer!”. I’ve been singing in choirs since I was six years old. From my 15th to my 18th I was in the pre-trajectory at Parnas conservatory and was admitted to the first year of conservatory. I quit, unfortunately it was too theoretical for me! Then the Academy came along… During my studies I went to Africa twice to perform, recorded the album t Minne with Three-ality. I joined the bands Three-ality, Souldada, Pieter v/d Zweep, and Twarres. I performed with amongst others: Leoni Jansen, De Kast, Izaline Calister, Ernst Daniel Smid and more.
Present
I sing in Three-ality (front), Souldada (front), Twarres (backing) and Pieter van der Zweep (backing). I also do studio work, do singing / voice over for commercials. With Three-ality I’m writing my own songs and we’re working on an acoustic program, we continue to be hired for projects for both lead and backing. I just completed a theater tour with Souldada, later this year the new album will be released with material we just recorded! I am fully enjoying my life as a singer!
Future
I’m hoping for a nice, happy, healthy life with the people and the work that I love. My passions: love and music! Not very Rock ‘n Roll, but so be it.
